Course Description:
Coding is going to become a core competency. If your kid learnt coding in school and didn't like it, don't let that turn them off!

Coz in this course, using Scratch, we will show students that they can actually create a cool animation and a game through coding. No following steps, no copying others' style. It's their idea, their game.

Because we believe resilience and growth mindset is super critical, students will also go through 4 hours of coaching by our mindfulness coach, where they learn about their strengths (and how to maximize them), positive and growth mindset, and how not to let stress break them.

Pre-requisites:
None. Suitable for beginners with no or limited prior coding experience.

Cancellation Policy:
We want you to buy our courses with confidence, so we offer a hassle-free 100% money back guarantee. Just email hello@smarterme.sg (within 24 hours after the first class) and you will get your full refund within 5 working days. No small print, no questions asked.

Lesson Plan

Start with the basics. Let's create actors in our animation.

We get to design our own actors and backgrounds. How fun is that!

Time to make our actors move. And create a rainbow pen drawing program.

Life is boring without sounds. We get to add sounds to our actors.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create an alternative scene for Walt Disney animated cartoons.

Your very first game. And its the grand-daddy of all games. Pong.

Learn to create scores for your games.

Today, we get an amazing opportunity to understand how games are designed.

If you had a chance to design a game? What would it be like?

Learn to test and improve on your game design.

Last lesson. But don't be sad, you get a chance to present your animation!

Mastery Projects
