Creating Design that Connects with People9-12 Years Old | Share Each Mastery Course is 12 lessons x 2 hours each lesson.
Dates: Every Saturday (starting 5 May), 5-7pm.
What's design vs art?
"Good art inspires. Good design motivates."
Unlike art where the artist usually starts with a blank canvas, design has a purpose - to motivate the audience to do something. Good designs are those that effectively communicate their message and motivate their consumers to carry out a task.
In this Mastery course, you will learn stuff like:
1) Colour theory
2) Typography and how it links to a brand
3) How to understand users and problem-solve for them through design
4) Rebrand for the new, larger Grab, including creating marketing materials
You will also enjoy 3 lessons of coaching by our mindfulness coach, where you learn about yourself, your strengths (and how to maximize them), practising positivity and how not to let stress break you.
Cancellation Policy: We offer a no-questions-asked refund if you do not like the course after taking your first lesson. You just have to request through email@example.com within 24 hours after your first lesson.

You'll learn about design thinking (empathy and definition) - how to understand users before designing. You will also learn about your feelings and how to regulate disruptive emotions
Coming up with ideas can be easy for some people, harder for others. But there are tips and tools! Today, you will learn the different ways of coming up with ideas for your branding project.
You'll learn how designers apply synthesis and association when they create a design, and you'll apply it yourself!
You will learn about craftsmanship and use it in the finalisation of your branding project.
Aren't you excited to show your design ideas to others? Here, you'll learn to create marketing collaterals for your branding project.
Almost done! You'll be completing prototyping tests for your branding project.
Finally - the highlight - you will present your branding proposal to a corporate. You will also go through your strengths finder test and learn how to leverage on them
